On this tour we spend the entire day in one of the most historical districts of Lisbon: Belém!
We start the day with a visit to the Maritime Museum to learn more about the impact of the 15th century Portuguese discoveries in the fields of botany, geography, astronomy, gastronomy and zoology.
Next we visit the exquisite church of the Jerónimos Monastery where we get to know more about the life of King Manuel I, one of the responsibles for the creation of the Portuguese colonial empire.
Finally we do an exterior visit to the Monument to the Discoveries and to the Belém Tower to know more about the trade and cultural relations between Portugal and Japan, China, Malaysia, Korea, Timor and other Portuguese colonies!
